The body’s a hazy deep gold and the bubbly head lasts none too long. The aroma is sweet and worty with a light grassiness on top. Medium bodied. It has a tooth-hurting sweet malt flavor with a low-keyed alcohol presence and a grassy bitterness. Not too bad.

Cloudy, amber/gold appearance with an average size off white head and good lacing. Sweet malt aroma accented with some fruitiness (pears) and a mild spicyness from the hops. Yeasty, fruity, mildly sweet taste, with a bit of a briar patch aftertaste. Hops were noticable but not intrusive. Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel leading to slightly dry, lingering finish.

Very strong malt, grass aroma. Bitter with a strong harsh finish. I like it a lot, but brandy aftertaste is not what I expected. The malts don’t seem to be toasted much?

The aroma has lots of rich malt and some grass. The appearance is golden as advertised with a light haze and a two finger head. The flavor is surprising. It was not as sweet as I was expecting. There is a toasted malt element that is followed by a grassy bitterness and a slight coffee taste. The finish is paper like with a thin palate. You can feel quite a bit of alcohol in it but falls well short of blowing you away like a barley wine or imperial stout. This is a little harsh and a little stale tasting on top of that. Not a highly recommended beer but certainly drinkable.

Pours a transparent orange bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Sweet pale malty aroma has some corn and floral European hoppy notes. Starts fairly full and malty sweet with some German lager yeasty notes and a touch of floral, slightly grapefruity hops. Overall, could use a little more balance and a more authentic malt bill.

Hazy gold with 1 cm of frothy, white head. Past ripe banana, bread, grainy malt, lightly floral and earthy hops. Simple brew. Easy drinking. Good with spicy food. Smooth, medium palate. Not bad.
