Commercial Description:
Our organic IPA uses Tomahawk, Cascade, and Centennial hops for a rustic, rough-hewn hop character that pairs great with food or relaxing among friends. Prominent citrus and pine aromas and bitterness that is not over the top balances this medium bodied copper-colored brew.

Bottle, marked organic. Pour is rather boring... no head, amber/straw color. Blah. Aroma has some grapefruit/tangerine citrus with a grassy backdrop. Somewhat weak for an IPA. Flavor is a little more interesting... a bit of a pine resin character comes through and balances a slightly sweet caramel malt presence fairly well. That said, it is a little bit watery and would be a lot better if not for that.

22oz bomber. Color is copper with some red and some sort of hazy orange. Thin long lasting off white head. The aroma is a bit too light to really get a good sense of it. I think I get some vague hoppiness like pine and also a hint of malt. The flavor is up front pine hop bitterness with slivers of sweeter pine hop flavor. Following that I occasionally get a thin watery flavor. Then the malts enter with light roastiness, biscuit, melanoidin and wet hay. This IPA is maltier than most and one of the better organic brews I’ve tried.

Bottle:Clear copper color with a small, uneven off-white head. The aroma is floral, sweet hops along with wet, fermented hay in a barn somewhere in Ohio. Interesting taste - something is off. Almost charcoal and then cardboard and heavy duty hand soap with bitterness throughout. Not that good. I see now why it is rated so low.

Cloudy orange pour, with a lasting white head that looked like whipped cream, just sat on top the whole beer! Not too much on the hops front, but very nicely hopped, just right. Citrus, and floral flavors. Alcohol is well hidden. Decent.

Pours dark gold with a white head. Aroma of honeysuckle and some other flowers. Taste is of floral hops with a mildly bitter finish. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, and so is flavor. Easy drinking, but that’s not what I look for in an IPA.

Nice bottle. Pleasing smell of bread, grass, malt and honey, but don’t be deceived. Light drink but finish is overly bitter which doesn’t spoil this very much. Enjoyable beer. Good alcohol content.

Bottle. Hazy orange with thin white head. Honeysuckles, citrus, floral aromas. tastes a little soapy with more flowery hops and a nice malt backbone. Almost a creamy mouthfeel with a mildly bitter finish. Alcohol well hidden.
