| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2006 Bottled. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a lacy off-white head. Aroma of toffee and citrus. Medium body and carbonation. The taste is dominated by the malt with caramel and nutty notes supported by the hops. Bitter aftertaste. Definitely the most malt-centric IPA I’ve tried. jazz88 (2239), San Francisco, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2006 Bottle. A caramel brown color with a laced tan head. A floral malt, vegetable and caramel aroma. It was hard to find hops. Malty and earthy flavors with a light hop profile. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 18, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a slightly hazy softly carbonated orange brown colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was hoppy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and caramel. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. dwedin (238), Portland, Oregon, USA

Seems to be bottle conditined.
Medium orange/amber with an averge sized, sticky white head.
Caramel and apricot orange aroma.
The sweetness is very subdued and what there is quickly turns to a long smooth dryness that’s not too bitter. Very drinkable and a bit different. Mine was a little flat. A better carbonation would improve the mouthfeel some.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Oct 13, 2006 My bottled is labeled Organic IPA. Yellow-amber brew, Foamy head, lots of lacing. Fresh, bitter hops aroma, note of grapefruit, citrus. Medium body. Flavor is grapefruit with no sugar. Not sweet at all. Nice and bitter. Heavy bitter aftertaste that mellows out pretty quickly leaving a lingering bitterness. wheninhell (486), louisville, Kentucky, USA
