Malty aroma with lots of biscuit and sugar cookie; not real heavy handed on the aromatic hops. Sugar cookie and butterscotch show up in the flavor; light diacetyl. Finally, some moderately bitter hops make a brief appearance. Medium-bodied and dry with mild carbonation. Finishes up dry. Don’t think this one was dry hopped. Definitely an English style IPA. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 29, 2006 Bottle, labeled Bison Organic IPA. Pours a cloudy amber with a light beige head. Hoppy scent and aftertaste. Not a real good IPA, not all that special. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 28, 2006 Bottle. Small ivory fizzy head that mostly diminished, poor lacing, visible carbonation, transparent, and an orange with some red peeking through for the hue. Nose was malty, citrus and hoppy. This beer’s flavor was sweet, malty, hoppy and lightly bitter tasting. Mouthfeel was tingly and hoppy. Medium body. Schultsc (483), Henderson, Nevada, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 22, 2006 Updated: Aug 28, 200822oz bomber. No single hop neck tag. Label has same description as 12oz brew rather than that of single hop editions. Pours a medium orange-gold with a thin, med.-dense, light tan head. Light toasted grain aromas with citrus peel, mdium resin characteristics, and earth. Full bitterness in the flavor profile that is well integrated into a dry graininess and earthy dried-herbs hops flavors along with and edge of pine wood/resin and citrus. It has a fairly light body which is nimble on the palate with its dryness and well integrated alcohol. It is this balance which highlights the multi-faceted grain and hops profile that pleasantly evolves throughout a long finish. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 20, 2006 As far as aesthetics go this beer has got it all. Pours deep ruby/amber color which is VERY attractive. Thin off-white head lasts a long time. This is an organic beer so I have already lowered my expectations. It seems that all the organic brews I’ve tried always come out kind of gritty and unappealing. Let’s see about this one... Aroma is hoppy of citrus and some pine in there too. Flavor is pine with a very bitter finish. Good beer. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2006 A nice golden-red body with a thin white head. Citrus aroma with a light earthy malt accent. Good body, taste is hoppy though not hugely bitter. Nice malt profile, smooth ending. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2006 I found it to be standard IPA with a lower bite. i could not find an advantage with organic label. I did not find any complexity but would certainly drink this in a session
