Commercial Description:
Our organic IPA uses Tomahawk, Cascade, and Centennial hops for a rustic, rough-hewn hop character that pairs great with food or relaxing among friends. Prominent citrus and pine aromas and bitterness that is not over the top balances this medium bodied copper-colored brew.

Copper with white head. Smell of fuits. Taste of fruits with a nice balance of hops. Not overly hoppy like some IPA’s that one may incounter. Good beer.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly amber mostly copper color w/ a light off-white head. Some hints of citrus and grass and hops w/ a carmelized fruit finish. I would say there is a decent balance b/w the malts and hops but overall, it really isn’t an overpowering IPA. It was a little flat. Medium bodied.

Blind tasting at Papsø’s
Cloudy golden color; small creamy head. Very peculiar aroma, dusty, grainy, grassy, with fruity hops. Some malt flavor, a bit grainy, with light residual sweetness, and the rest is hop juice. Quite good, but also strange.

Bottle 65cl. @ Papsoes blindtasting. [ Bottle #22. ]
Unclear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, moderate hoppy, grass, grpaefruit - orange, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090612]

Med. heavy roasted malt, med brwn color, little head, cardboard, some citrus, honey, pine; initial bitter acidic, with sweet but dry background, finislh bitter/sour, carbonation soft with a med astringent finish. interesting, but body holds back finish. I like the change from the usual IPA on occasion

Location: 12 oz bottle from Total Wine in Richmond, 7/1/09, my first beer of July, which is a completely meaningless piece of information.

Aroma: Nice mix of caramel, earthy hops, citrus fruits, a little honey
Appearance: Poured a nice looking cloudy caramel like orange-brown color, with a huge frothy off-white head
Flavor: Nice hop flavor with a pretty big sweet malt backing, and finishes with a bit of an odd tang
Palate: A decent mouthfeel, nice medium body
Overall Impression: I liked this one, it’s pretty interesting, and it does a nice job of bringing malt characteristics to a IPA, something in the end palate just didn’t work quite right, so I deducted a bit off the flavor for that, otherwise, it was a really nice beer.

Wish I remembered where this was acquired. Poured into a pint glass. A massive head exploded from the bottom of the glass. It dissipated slowly. The beer is cloudy caramel colored and that thick head is tan. Aroma is sweet caramel which nicely balances hops with citrus and pine notes. Flavor is more dry than the aroma with moderate bitterness. As well as caramel, the flavor has over ripe peach and Fall spices. An interesting aspect is the feel of hot peppers that gently lights up the mouth. Interesting, but things don’t quite work together well enough.

Bottled. A hazy light amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of hops, grass, and fruit, while the flavor is sweet with notes of hops, grass, and grapefruit.
