Pours with a tall lasting head with aromas of wet hay and aged citrus. Full nectar with good carbonation. This is out of whack. Too much veggie in the cauldron. A little weak on the hop component. I thought I smelled some Hallertauer in there somewhere. Why is this an IPA ? gwelch925 (31), Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 21, 2008 650 bottle from Bev4less.(a fresh bottle--1st day on the shelves) Pours a translucent copper color with a big white sudsy head that had good retention and lacing. The aroma is distinctly lemony with a bit of pine. The flavor showed more citrus, biter walnuts, and some sweet caramel rounding out the sides. The mouthfeel was just a bit on the thin side. The finish was long and biter-sweet. Overall:A very session-able IPA, but not one of the greats. Angeloregon (2036), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 12, 2008 Poured at Bailey’s Taproom--a rich dark amber-orange body with a thick white head. Fruity, nutty, bitter, and earthy. Lots of goddamn hops in this one. Herbal, medicinal hops blast through the palate. Nice beer! chokmah33 (118), San Luis Obispo, California, USA

grass and herb. Sour candy finish.
A very decent IPA. It was different in that it had much sediment. Gives the invigorated stomach feel that a good hop-tonic will give ya.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Copper pour with small off-white head. Light hoppy nose witih bits of citrus. Flavor is bigger on malt than hops. I would say it was more like an ESB than IPA with the amount of toasty malt. JorisPPattyn (5192), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 22, 2008 Draught Orange amber, no head left. Citrus, but also a bit acetic acid. Very citrussy hops. Malt and discreet hops in the taste. Again cigarette ashes - the glasses? Leafy notes. Light burning MF, medium bodied at least. Not very impressive, IMO.
