Commercial Description:
Our organic IPA uses Tomahawk, Cascade, and Centennial hops for a rustic, rough-hewn hop character that pairs great with food or relaxing among friends. Prominent citrus and pine aromas and bitterness that is not over the top balances this medium bodied copper-colored brew.

Pours a clear, medium orange color. A frothy, off-white head settles to a thin film with a bubbly edge. Scant jagged lines of lacing mark the glass. The aroma is a fairly nice and fresh blend of orange juice, sweet apricot, and subtle grapefruit hops. The flavor is very juice and refreshing, with a good amount of citrus hops adding complimentary bitterness to the sweet fruity notes. Toffee and some dry, bready grains provide the malty background. The mouthfeel is substantial, but not full, and very smooth. This one is quite drinkable for being nearly 7%. Fairly straightforward, but refreshing and enjoyable.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a sudsy, white, medium head. Aroma is orangey and apricot-like, accompanied by some grape skins and dark breads. The flavour is bready with some pineapple, orange, and tangy spiced hops. A good quaff.

22oz bottle from Hi-Times wine cellars, costa mesa, CA. Purchase July 2207, consumed Jan 08. Poured golden wit a small white head great citrus aroma. flavor was very will balenced with a nice malty fruit back by clean hoppy bitter, not a hop monster, but a nice drinkable beer

2008-02-01. Bottle. Orange copper body, small foamy white head. (3+) Bit citrusy orange aroma, mild alcohol. (7+) Similar orange citrus in the flavour, dry malt. Alcohol mutes the hops a touch in the flavour. Smooth average palate. (3+) Very drinkable IPA, but I had hoped for a more assertive flavour based on the first impressions of the aroma, still rather nice.

clear gold with small white head. Earthy citrus hops and medium body. Lemony and spicy. Good but not great.

Bottle shared with jerc, mabel, blankboy & mds - mabel’s bottle. Reddish-amber with a good sized white head. Fairly pungent hops in the aroma, holding notes of pineapple and citrus. Medium body. Flavour is solid and balanced, with a nice malt profile off the top and citric hops coming though in the lingering finish. Not in in-your-face hopbomb by any means, but a well-made, easy drinking IPA.

Bomber thanks to Santa. Poured clear paler golden with a short cap of off-white head. The aroma picked was rather weak, with bready notes, lemon, and grass.. warmth brought out a touch of juicy lighter fruits, but you have to stretch to find ’em. The flavor also had sweet bready notes at the core, with light grassy and lemon bitterness surrounding.. the sticky finish carried through a little more bitterness, and was slightly refreshing. Medium-bodied with lower carbonation and a bit of zestiness from the lemon. All-in-all a weak IPA that was drinkable, but not enjoyable.

Not the best IPA. Color was nice, aroma was hardly there. Kinda "earthy" mouthfeel, with a metallic or acidic ending. Not really enough hops for me. Great with tacos.
