Jun 14, 2009 From bottle, blind #22. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Dry wooden and slight peachy aroma. Sweet, wooden and caramel malt flavoured. Light grapefruity and dry flavoured into the finish. Quite dry and slight grassy finish.

Unclear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, moderate hoppy, grass, grpaefruit - orange, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Cloudy golden color; small creamy head. Very peculiar aroma, dusty, grainy, grassy, with fruity hops. Some malt flavor, a bit grainy, with light residual sweetness, and the rest is hop juice. Quite good, but also strange.

Mar 10, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade with Larry Pitonka (thanks!). Poured a medium orange color with a very small sized off white head. Aromas of spackle (yes, the spackle I use to patch dry wall), toffee and a little nutty. Tastes of caramel and oranges. Definitely a British Style IPA and not an American hop bomb. I just couldn’t get past the spackle.
