Very peculiar aroma, dusty, grainy, grassy, with fruity hops. Some malt flavor, a bit grainy, with light residual sweetness, and the rest is hop juice. Quite good, but also strange. argo0 (6987), Washington DC, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 10, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade with Larry Pitonka (thanks!). Poured a medium orange color with a very small sized off white head. Aromas of spackle (yes, the spackle I use to patch dry wall), toffee and a little nutty. Tastes of caramel and oranges. Definitely a British Style IPA and not an American hop bomb. I just couldn’t get past the spackle.
