Commercial Description:
Our organic IPA uses Tomahawk, Cascade, and Centennial hops for a rustic, rough-hewn hop character that pairs great with food or relaxing among friends. Prominent citrus and pine aromas and bitterness that is not over the top balances this medium bodied copper-colored brew.

Nose of pine, citrus, resin, perfume, & flowers. Pours a murky orange amber. The enormous beige tight rocky head is fully lasting with amazing lace. The flavor in four words or less: Big, Bold, Burnt & Bitter. Not necessarily in that order. The medium soft body is creamy and feels slightly astringent at the finish. The is a “Take no Prisoners” kind of brew.

Color is unusual -- kind of pale brown, head was white and medium in both size and longevity, not a lot of lace. Lots of bubbles rise from the bottom. Aromas were malt, grass, citrus, apples, charcoal, yeast, pine and alcohol. Flavor is excellent -- fair amount of smoky and nutty malt, bitter grapefruit hops, some summer fruit, and a bit of yeast. Palate was good, with fairly high carbonation, but not too high.

Aromatic hoppy and crisp, yet subtle, oder upon opening and taking a deep wiff. Cloudy medium amber color with OK head coming out of this 22 oz bottle. Sharp (!) taste--hop driness to the max. Its got great charachter and evaorates of the tounge in a second. Leaves an after taste like smoke. If this beer were a person it would be Burt Renoylds--curt and to the point, crisp humor that you don’t have to think about. So far, my favorite organic IPA.

wow, this is nice. beautiful deep golden color and clarity. wee bit of toast and assertive but not overbearing malt character of straw, biscuit and light caramel fringed with understated phenols. The hop mix is beautiful. I can’t make it out at all but with neither a west coast or british signature and seemingly a blend of two bold complements. Wow, this is very nice without being over the top.

Aroma is light and airy, reminds me of the smell of wheat and flowers. Flavor is fairly bitter hops, wheats, floral. Bitterness lingers on leaving you wanting more. You would never think that this beer would have such a high ABV, I cant find a hint of the high content in the flavor. A great sessional for the boat dock or just on your back deck on a hot summer day. My first Bison Beer. Why this is a winter seasonal is beyond me, but i liked it.

Classic pine and hop aroma. Taste does not overload the hops but instead is very smooth with a great balance of flavors. With a mild bitterness in the finish, I found this to be a very underrated beer.

22oz bomber. No single hop neck tag. Label has same description as 12oz brew rather than that of single hop editions. Pours a medium orange-gold with a thin, med.-dense, light tan head. Light toasted grain aromas with citrus peel, mdium resin characteristics, and earth. Full bitterness in the flavor profile that is well integrated into a dry graininess and earthy dried-herbs hops flavors along with and edge of pine wood/resin and citrus. It has a fairly light body which is nimble on the palate with its dryness and well integrated alcohol. It is this balance which highlights the multi-faceted grain and hops profile that pleasantly evolves throughout a long finish.
