A genuine Bitburger - without any alcohol - but with the same drive as far as the taste is concerned, in bottles or as fresh draught beer from a keg!

Pale golden colour with a white head. Malty brewmash aroma. Malty grainy flavor, thin body and watery finish.

2004 bottle shared with bucknaked, 4/28/2005. Bright gold, moderate white head, well-retained. Aroma of pils malt. Flavor is shapr, acidic, cereal-like with plenty of cardboard. Sour yeast perhaps? Clean aftertaste, however, with no cereal grains. Moderate carbonation. Retronasal celery. Light body. A modest, though not impressive by any means, low alcohol.

Pours a medium golden color. Malty, grainy aroma. Malty flavor. Weird aftertaste and finish. Not too good but better than alot of pale lagers out there.

Removing alcohol should not remove flavor. There is nothing about this beer that is noteworthy. Aroma, body, taste are all crap.

Clear metallic gold; good whitish head, collapsing. Coffeecream, faint hops, herbal. Very dry, herbal taste, slight sweetness underneath for an instant, then hoppy, later harsh metallic bitterness. Harsh metallic bitter finish overwhelms everything. Dry and rather light bodied. For a nablab, it ranks amongst the better ones. But if I had to drink this on a regular base...

12 oz bottle, Whip-In Liquors, Austin, Tx. This is bad, just wrong. Looks alright, light golden with a tight and thin white head. Faint grainy and stale vegetable aroma, not much there. Flavor is throat clenching, like strong tonic water. No real beer character to this whatsoever. Flavor is a combination of cardboard and odorous feet - not the combination I look for in a beer - even a non-alcoholic one. One of the bottom tier foreign NAs I have had - most are pretty decent.

Bottle: Dark golden yellow colour with a medium head and quite bubbly. Taste is biiter and actually has some similarity to the regular one, overall it is not a bad non alcohol beer. If you didn’t know it was NA you would not notice the lack of alcohol.

Bottled. I volunteered to drive my colleagues for our Christmas lunch in the hope I’d find a new Low Alcohol to rate. Well here it is. A greeny gold coloured ’beer’ with a farty, eggy metallic smell. The taste is quite nasty with more eggy notes and a bit of burnt grass. Bad but not as bad as Kaliber!
