Mostly a grainy cooked barley smell with some carbonic whiffs and bit of dirt.
Almost tastes like a beer. Grainy flavor isn’t as bad as most N/As I’ve tried, comes close to a bad Pils flavor. Somewhat watery and seems to have some generic acidic balance rather than hop balance. Almost drinkable. Good N/A. Wulfstan (509), California, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Mar 13, 2008 Updated: Mar 14, 2008Well, this is my first non-alcoholic beer in almost 20 years and I can see why I don’t bother with them. It is decent looking, with fairly deep gold, a medium white hea that shrinks to a long-lasting thin head. The aroma is decent, mild grain and herbal hops. The taste is very thin, light, and dry. It’s watery and has almost no malt or grain character or body at all. It does at least have plenty of hop flavour, which fully dominates the taste in the absence of the malt, so it has flavour. However, the result is almost all bitter green grass in taste. Considering it is non-alcoholic, it guess it’s not bad and has decent character, though. My rating takes this into account. Otherwise, a beer with anything close to 4% ABV that was like this would be near the very bottom, with a total score of no more han 1. jerohen (1615), Bussum, Netherlands
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 7, 2008 Bottled, thanks to my mom. Clear golden coloured, initially fair head. Malts and hops in aroma, not even that bad. Watery flavour. Pretty solid for an NA beer. waolsen (1223), Littleton, Colorado, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 18, 2008 Bitburger Drive, Kinda nice since it pours with a small medium head, since I’m more about drinking my beers then waiting for the fuss to settle down. Has a bit of a corn aroma and taste like any mass produced crap beer should., that and its halved with a good skunky pils aroma and eathy flavor. Its light yellow translucent in color with excellent lacing on the glass. Great for pretending its the beer, after taking shots of tequila. kappldav123 (1867), Markkleeberg, Germany

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Nov 19, 2007 Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pale yellow with a big but fastfading head. Aroma is very flat malty, but the bitter aftertaste is pretty good for a low alcohol bhensonb (4347), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Bottle as Bitburger Drive. Light dusty aroma of pale malt and grassy hop. Gold colored with a little amber and a white head that is respectable and sticks. Thin to medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Definitely a lot of bitter, finishes a little grainy. This could be the low alcohol for pilsners. I think it’s the best NA so far.
