Bottled(330ml). -my friend found this beer in Berlin during the beach volley World Championship and that was the only beer avaliable in press-center, pale yellow coloured, little airy head, sweet flavor, thin in aroma, light dry finish, quite tasteless brew

Yellow and instantly flat, aroma is lagerish with a thin weak watered down taste......the Sol of Germany.

Bottle, 33cl. Bad, bad, bad beer! Very pale yellow, almost no head at all and no significant carbonation. Aroma? Perhaps i’m with a flu or something... Very sweet flavour, notes of malt and nothing else. Rather plain. Unbelievable how bitburger could make a beer like this.

White bottle. Grainy aroma with a hint of apple. Bland flavor with only hints of apple and glue. Nothing there to please the critical beer drinker.

What were they thinking?! Bring out a bland and uninspirational beer that is vastly inferior to the great Bitburger Pils (insidently one of my favourite German Pilsners)? Who knows. But what I can report is that this is an unoffensive beer but totally bland and tasteless offering from Bitburger aimed at those who have no taste what so ever i.e. those you would normally find drinking fosters, budweiser and other piss poor lagers. Simliar to Becks Gold, I can only assume that they copied Beck’s idea of a pissy tastless mutation of their standard pils. Well anyway who cares, the message is clear. Stay clear on these short lived marketing gimic beers as they are all hopelessly rubbish.

Poured a plain jane gold, with little head, tastes like an American micro, but a "Bit" better, take Bitburger, cut the hops by 70% and there you go, not very good, drinkable on a hot California night(Tonight) but I’ll pass on it next time.

(bottle) Clear and pale yellow colour with a medium frothy white head that retreats faster than the French army. One more of these pale Lagers which are getting more and more common (and unfortunately) popular here in Germany. Weak malty aroma with a touch of cardboard. Very light, watery body and slightly malty taste with an overcarbonated short finish without any bitterness to speak of. Tastes like the downfall of the occident.
