Quality flavor profile, classic for the style....some hops bitterness, bread, yeast, and a bittersweet finish. Very nice. daknole (3030), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

Actually one of the better pils I have had in awhile. Flavor is pretty crisp and malty wtih some hops to balance. Watery finish. Not bad, not amazing. wcampbell (584), Central, South Carolina, USA

Dry bread flavor. Short, slightly watery finish. Not as grassy as some other pilseners. A little too watery to be a very good beer. Some straw taste that wasn’t too great. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 12, 2008 This is good shit:The aroma glides up your nose with strong hay, honey and pineapple fruit ester emphasis. I can’t get enough of these dry ,bready malty German pilsners:) Subdued straw base with flakey cream as its base ..but the flavours are what you pay for. Notes of doughy ,bready malt -with a pleasing sweetness ,that’s mellowed and not overly flamboyant. Grassy, resiny almost waxy ? hoppiness giving pines and needles on my gumbs. More pineapple esters in a long ,dry bready finish. An unassuming gem of a Pils. Maybe a more bright hop character and this would be wicked good. Alasdair (76), New Zealand

Honey malt sweetness, then spice hop flavour and dry, bitter finish. Easy drinking, tasty enough, but unspectacular. s01gs (17), Göteborg, Sweden

A very well known beer, and is a local beer for me but not the best. Not that I am a Pils fan but it is of good quality. This si the only true beer Bitburg makes the rest are light or mixes.
