Commercial Description:
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

500ml bottle, pours golden with a small head. Mild aroma of hops and citrus light hoppy flavour with a crisp, but not harsh, finish.

Bottle from the_Captain(thanks Mark). Aroma was wonderful. bananas,Honey, clove, some citrus. Taste was ok with some of the aroma coming thru in the taste. very dry Pils. The more I drink beer and the different styles I am coming to realize that the classic "Pilsner" is not really my thing but this was somewhat enjoyable.

Golden pour with a nice foamy head. Sweet fruity malt and a touch of citrus hops in the aroma. Malty citrus flavor as well, with just a touch of hop bitterness on the finish. A good pilsner.

Can, 500 ml, 11.3P
Appearance: Pours shiny bright, with some micro sediments floating in the body texture, very bright golden, citrusy and shiny, carbonation of the body is visually medium to high (initially), head is snowy white, foamy to frothy, thick, gives good lacing.
Aroma: Cardboard, chalk, metalic, dusty, grains, hoppy bitterness, focused, essential, citrusy, lemon, seeds, reminding in its character of aroma many Bohemian Pilseners.
Flavour: Grainy, hoppy, strong bitterness on palate, much more stress on hoppy bitterness on palate than aromatic hoppy nose, refreshing and easy going, smooth, milky - creamy malty touch, citrus fruits, lemon, mineral nose. Finish duration is medium.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery to dry, thanks to this it’s easy going, refreshing on the other hand. Finish feel is grainy, chalky, lightly alcoholic when warmer.

Bottle(Case) - Poured a pale clear gold, small white simmering head with some lacing. Faint touch of hops and a hint of lemon and spice. Refreshing and smooth on the pallet. It may not be a powerful brew but it’s certainly refreshing, crisp and tasty. This is a good one for a hot day cool down.

5L party keg from John’s Grocery. Poured a clear light gold with a small white head. Some faint smells of German hops and a little earthy. A little fruity and malty as well. Tasted pretty sweet and had a decent hop bitterness. Pretty dry and clean too. It served the purpose.

Bottle at Bottlescrew Bills Calgary, AB. Overall, a great german pilsener. An aroma of grass, malts and citrus fruit. Pours a light yellowish gold colour with pretty much no head. Taste is of sweet malts, hops and citrus fruit. Overall, I will be looking to have this beer again.
