Commercial Description:
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Poured into a pilsener glass. Pretty much the same color as piss. Despite a rather hard pour, there isn’t much head. What foam there is is bright white and fizzy. It disintegrates rapidly, leaving no lace. Aroma is at first lemony and tart, then grainy and sweet. Pretty classic pilsener nose. Taste is on the light side even for the style. Grainy malt provides sweetness and hops provide a refreshing tartness. Zesty, grassy, and clean. Carbonation is on the heavy side considering the body is paper thin. Very refreshing and crisp, a superior alternative to any macro, infinitely drinkable.

One of the better pilseners I’ve had. Pours a golden yellow color, thick head. Maltier than other pilseners. Only thing is you have to drink this quick, tastes more and more like grass clippings as it warms up.

This is a nice German pilsner with its appearance being the qeakest quality. It is gold with a medium, airy white head that steadily dissipates to a thin foamy top and leaves no real lace. The aroma is very nice flowery citrus with fgrass, herbs, grain and a hint of sulphur - a really good German pilsner aroma. In taste, it has lots of grain, especially in the finish, a lot of apple, and flowery-ctrusy hops, with light sweetness and a balancing bitterness. It’s a little lwoer on the bitter side than others, but it makes up for this with good body and well-rounded, full flavours.

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Clear very pale yellow with white ring head and a little lace. Honey lemon aroma Very clean honey sweetness with brisk clean bitter dry finish. Medium-light body medium carbo. Just what I needed today. A very nice light beer.

Crystal clear straw-like color with an initial big foamy head that quickly settles to spotty covering leaving minimal lace. Very grainy with slight mineral almost, metallic notes; light grassy hops. Grainy, full Pils malt flavor, slightly sweet but balanced (more by metallic edge than hop impression). Medium mouthfeel but strong carbonation stings the tongue like a macro lager. Overall, a very drinkable (especially considering price, about $1.39 for 16 oz) pilsner from a can.

Pale yellow body and a head that diminished very quickly. No real lacing to speak of. The aroma is clean and bitter -- nice hop profile. The flavor resembles the aroma, yet some malts appear and keep the hops in check. Good balance for the style. Average carbonation, but what impressed me was how dry this beer was. Extremely drinkable, and I would definitely love to try this fresh from the tap someday.
