Commercial Description:
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

[698-20070926] Tap @ The Phoenix (London, GL). Aroma is faint, a little yeasty. Clear, bright light yellow with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Yeasty grain flavour. Bubbly light body. Not bad, a light beer.

Bottle. Pours medium gold color. Little head, no lace. Aroma is very faint with grassy /flowery notes. Taste has a strong malt backbone of caramel and bread. Spicy hops come on strong in the middle with a long lasting bitter finish. Not outstanding but enjoyable overall.

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a medium but fast fading white head. And a yeasty, wheaty aroma. Flavor is wheat, with some caramel, coffee, citrus and bread. Nice medium finish

Wirklich nur ein mäßiges Bier. Es hat nichts, was irgendwie besonders ist, deshalb werde ich es sicher in einer Woche wieder vergessen haben.
