Commercial Description:
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Very good german pilsener... Nice hop aroma, ok head. Malt taste with hops. Could be better, but I can´t complain.

On tap on 6/22/07: Pours a transparent clear pale golden with a thin ring of white head. Aroma of lightly sweet pale malt and some earthy noble hops with a hint of corn. Starts with a full, biting carbonation and faintly sweet, light malt along with earthy bittering hops. Unassertive and rather stale pilsner.

330 ml bottle. Gold lager with a slight white head. Slightly sweet malt aroma with a whiff of hops. Flavour also inclined to sweetness with a tired hop finish. Ok.

16.9oz can-pours a foamy white head that laces and pale yellow color. Aroma is light malt, secondary floral/spicy (saaz) hops. Taste is light malt-some caramel, secondary floral/spicy/grassy (saaz) hops-slight bitterness. OK carbonation. As of second half it gets better.

500 ml can. Poured dull yellow iwth a decent size vibrant white head. Mild malty aroma. Taste is very good for a pils. Grainy and sloightly malty with a hoppy finish that is ever so slightly bitter. This is a pils worth drinking by the case.

Pleasant appearance with a distinct, cutting aroma to it. Refreshing, but not remarkable enough to really embrace as a favorite.

12 oz can from the good ol Holiday Wine cellar. Average pour and aroma of the typical pils style. The flavor and drink was boring with no real substance to make it worth drinking again.

Light white head that quickly subsides. Aroma is slightly sharp and flavor is refreshing with a bite.
