Commercial Description:
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

I had this one from the bottle. Not too bad for a German Pil. Hoppy, skunky aroma. Poured a standard gold color with minimul head and tasted, well, German. Clean, crisp and unoffensive but not anything special.

Tap. Good aroma, bitter taste. Overall light beer. Nice golden colour. Head pours tall and stays for a while. Had this beer in Frankfurt, Germany.

Bottle. High white fluffy but lasting head. Clear light yellow body. Weak and sweet barley malt aroma. Weak and watery barley malt flavor without much hops bitterness, carbonation or aftertaste.

Pours a clear yellow color into the pilsner glass with an inch of head and some sticky lacing the scent was of wheat, gum, banana and some light crisp hops. The taste had flavors similar to the scent. A quick burst of carbonation and mild bitterness on the palate.

in 12 oz. bottle- poured little yellow color, no head. Aroma that of beer- just standard beer. Slightly bitter taste during and after consumption. Goes down easy, but I could find another beer worth the $3.50 price tag that is much better.

Tap. Malts have a moderate light bread aroma, hops smell lightly of grass and the yeast has a light dough note. Head was small, fizzy white which fully diminished and left no lacing. Flavor starts lightly acidic and the long finish was lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate was light, between dry and watery and had a lively carbonation. A clean and refreshing beer, would work well with just about any german meal.

I grew up with this beer and I also tasted it in the States. It’s a different taste as if you drink it just 10 miles from the brewery. It’s also important to drink it in glass.
