The aroma is slightly skunky with some toastiness to it. The flavor is much of the same. Very light and nothing in the taste is disagreeable. That being said, it’s not one of the better german beers i’ve had riversideAK (2727), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 23, 2007 A crisp and bready aroma. Is a nice gold color with a small white head. Flavor is nice and bitey with sweet bready malt. A nice palate cleanser. I had it after Miller Chill and it definitley helped get rid of that abominable flavor. Cletus (5055), Connecticut, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 19, 2007 Pours gold with a white head. Smells of grass, apples, some pepper, touches of citrus. Tastes of sweet malt, some pepper, some perfumy hints, touches of apples and some crisp dryness. Mouthfeel is suitably light. Finish is sweet and malty. A great thirst quencher/lawnmower beer. thenick (744), North Bellmore, New York, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 8, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Nice, clean, grassy hop aroma with just a tinge of fruity grape. Golden color with a white head that rapidly filmed. Rather thin bodied, with moderate carbonation. The flavor is sweet malt with some bitter. A slight astringency. The finish is dry, and there is some bitter to enjoy. If lagers were all there were, this would be one of the better beers. Thank God for ales. pubbe (493), Højbjerg, Denmark
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 7, 2007 Bottle. Clear yellow colour with rather nice white head of medium duration. Malt and especially hops in the aroma and flavor. Average finish. Ok pilsener. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2007 From a 500 ml. can, freshness date on the bottom, sampled in a pilsener glass.
Poured a clear pale yellowish golden with a frothy white head, decent retention, minimal amount of sticking.
A faint nose, lemon honey, grainy and sweet pale malts, very lightly floral.
Active carbonation lends to a firm medium-light body, pleasant tasting, dryly crisp, sweet pale malts with a soft grainy twang, a little lemon honey sourness, a nice spicy hoppiness with a dry, crisp biscuity finish.
A good budget priced pilsener, I like the fact that I can find this in tall boy cans, close to perfect on beastly hot, muggy midwestern summer days.
