Looks like it has a lot of carbonation, and it does, but I can still taste some good hops amidst it all. Little aftertaste, too bad. Enjoyable over-all, very crisp and refreshing. Good pils, not my favourite. SEMI RE-RATE: On tap this beer is dramatically different, and quite good! Great pils malt body with ample German Noble hops. Nice. Could stand to be less carbonated though. cking (1023), North Canton, Ohio, USA

This one isn’t terrible but it’s a little rough around the edges. Aroma is sharp and noticeable. Decent pour, real light yellow with nice fluffy white top and good lacing. Thin and oh so watery the flavor is weak. A biting hoppiness overpowers a lacking malt content. It’s drinkable but the finish is rough as well. For the buck it’s a solid bargain but if you want a good pils keep looking. jonno (576), Brisbane, Australia

Smell is pretty distinct German beer with a nose of BITTErness. Light golden color, a few bubbles, under a fluffy head. Taste is mainly BITterness of German hops, keeping the malts from inflicting any sweetness on the mix. Keeps the final result slightly dry, a little filling, with a lingering hop aftertaste. Good to have around in summer weather. Revision, Jul 28, 08: Ticking this one up because I’ve been moving to a new house, and my beer cellar with it. I’ve dived into the rest of the canned Bitburgers (each can consumed is a pound less to carry) and found them better in the heat of the summer. Hops get more pronounced, especially if it gets warmer, indeed, very refreshing and not as filling as I wrote previously. Even after how long in the store and a year in my fridge, a good beer in cans stays good. screwball (796), Motala, Sweden
