This is my idea of a decent pilsener. Will buy again. BuckeyeBoy (1665), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 5, 2007 Bottle. Pours a sparkling light yellow with a small fizzy head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is of yeast or bread dough. Typical of a pils, it’s light, watery and fairly lively in its carbonation. It ends with a distinctive metallic finish. A sweet start with a lightly bitter finish, it’s a decent pils, but for whatever reason it made me think of Moosehead (which is a lager) when it hasn’t been light-damaged. Translation: light and drinkable if you’re looking for a beer that you can drink in quantity, but it didn’t wow me. steview (901), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 28, 2007 a nice enough, crisp lager / low pop on the crack, then surprisingly carbonated. yeasty, with a good mash of tart, sweet, and bitter flavors--hay, a little lemon; and it comes with some floral aromatics. although a bit thick for a pils (for me), it’s a good companion to a hearty, meaty meal! | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2007 Pours a pure gold with a quickly disappearing head. Has a nice hops nose, no skunk. Pronounced hops flavor and pleasant bitterness, but overall fairly light flavor for a German beer. Overall this is an excellent and satisfying pilsener. JohnBarleycorn (390), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 27, 2007 Standard gold appearance and a blanket of fizz. Aromas of malt, grass and wet bread. Nice, grainy texture leads to an excellent bitter flavour. While this lacks complexity, the pleasant bitterness makes this a refreshing drink and great accompaniment for spicy foods. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2007 Bottle. Gentle glow of malt husk and lemon sugars, heavily subdued. Pours a furious even clear gold, with a fine head of sheet clean white. Flavor is a mostly clean plain malt sugar, with a tooth of grass, light chewy grain, a nip of herbal and then a long crisp run out to a bite of hop dust. Fresh and thirst-quenching while maintain palate pleasing quality and flavor in at least some modicum. Nice.
