Commercial Description:
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

It’s a golden beer with a moderate head. Both aroma and flavour is incredibly watery and thin, but if I look for it, I do find hints of malt somewhere in the brew and a light bitterness. A depressing beer...

Very pale, clear yellow with moderate, dissipating head formation. Lightly corny, grainy aroma with ever-so-slight perfumey hops. Lightly sweet doughy, but stale maltiness, and definitely lacking in "strong hop taste." Light, spicy bitterness closes it off. I don’t know if this is the freshest sample, but this beer is singularly unimpressive.

For the appearance and head of this beer the flavor doesn’t quite match it. What I mean by that is that it has a light and decent aroma but the flavor just lacks. Too much bitterness for this much flavor.

I am sure this is an established, well made beer. I’m just not pleased with its bitterness and acidity. crisp, dry finish, though.

Bottled. Beer is clear, light yellow-gold colored. Head is small, white, frothy. Quickly and almost totally diminishing.
The aroma is malty with light notes of toasted grain, bread crust; Hoppy with light notes of flowers, honeysuckle; Trace of yeasty dough; Miscellaneous trace note of rose. Aroma is delicate, clean, still has personality.
The flavor is moderately bitter, lightly acidic, lightly sweet with a long, lightly bitter, lightly sweet finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
Very good. Should be a staple in the house!

On tap at Frankfurt Hahn airport. Intense golden with a medium fluffy white head. Malty aroma with citric and herbal hops. Smooth mouthfeel. Very long and bitter finish. Very refreshing.

Draft from a .little German restaurant by my place. Golden yellow pour with a fizzy, soapy looking white head. Nose of malts, some citrus notes, maybe some hops. Fore is malt and some bitterness, mid brings in some hop bite, finish is long and bitter. Slightly astringent on the tongue as well. Went very well with our food, but I don’t know that I would drink it regularly on it’s own. Still not a bad brew at all.

(in can, 50 cl.). Golden yellow color with an airy head that leaves a little lace on the glass. Not much carbonation. Scent of hops. Taste of bread and flour. Is very bitter when cold, Which is not so bad. His problem is the acid. It is more than regular.
