Commercial Description:
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Not a bad Pilsener. I am not a big fan of the style but as far as pilseners go not bad. Light gold color with heavy carbonation and a small 1 finger head. Not much flavor coming out other than some corn and slight hop. Give this to me after I am done cutting the grass and it would score a point higher.

This Pilsner poured a clear light yellow colour with a nice frothy white head. To the nose, very boring. Sweet malt and a little corn. First sip was sweet but not too bad. finish was a little hoppy with a little bitterness. Palate was still sweet with lingering bitterness.

Bottle: bright yellow color, thin head, nice after taste, german flavor (skunky). I would drink it again.

50 cl. bottle. Bright yellow colour with a good lasting big fluffy white head. Aroma of sweet malts and hops. The flavour is sweet and malty with a nice hoppy dryness in the end, which stays in the nice long lasting aftertaste. A great German pils.

Bottle. Pours golden with a decent size white fizzy head. Aroma of grassy hops, skunk, and sweet malts. The flavor is bitter, slightly sweet and finishes dry.

Pours a fizzy yellow. Head is also short, fizzy but white. Taste is ok, typical German brew. Not bad though, I would drink it again.

A nice german pilsner. Aroma is a bit weak and very little hops. Appearance is weak with bubbly head and the color of budwieser. Budweiser comparisons end there with the nicey hoppy flavor and smooth finish. A nice beer when its comes to it.

Pretty average. Fairly drinkable, but with a distinctive kraut beer taste (Yanks would call is "skunky" whatever that means?) Not too bad.
