OK, OK, making fun of big cans probably isn’t the most productive use of electrons in the DB. Cracked at Uber. Man, Hog, I gotta thank you for letting me participate in this 101 flight--it’s made me appreciate just how difficult it is to make a consistently good flavorful pils. This one pours pale gold with a light filmy white head. Stringy lace. Corny nose, corny mid-palate. Sweet little tortilla from Bitburg. Lightly fizzy body. Can I have a Chuckanut Pils now? chrisv10 (366), Denmark

Purs a clear yellow with an average white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is most laget yeast and some mild hops. Taste grainy, with hay notes and muted grassy hops. Body si thin, and is a bit watery. Pretty bland for a pils but a decent backyard bbq beer. NPRugby11 (89), New York, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 30, 2009 Poured from a bottle--there was no head to speak of and very light color. Refreshingly light taste and not overly hoppy. A could drink a lot of these. pineypower (1104), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Can thanks to Dmac. Pour a mostly clear yellowish golden color with a moderate white head. Aroma of sweet malts, slight grassy hops and a little bready notes. Taste is refreshing, sweet sticky malts dominate with a slight grassy hop character, overall I’d much rather drink this than anything made by American macros.
