Aroma is hop dominated, lots of nice grassy notes and a bready, but sweet malt profile. Simple body, some hops, not too much bitterness and only a light malt sweetness. Pretty solid. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 19, 2007 Quite good German pilsner, much better than most american pilsners. Golden body, fairly easy drinking with a nice hoppiness, without being overpowering. Recommended. biermensch (64), USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 17, 2007 If this is their premium beer, I don’;t want to taste their other offerings. Bland, bland, bland. Nothing interesting going on here, and nothing offensive, eithier. At least the price was okay, $2.99 for four sixteen-ounce cans. Bitburger should call this pils light. ajolly2 (127), USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 10, 2007 This beer has identity problems: it doesn’t know whether it wants to be a Belgian White or an American Lite. Replete with carbonation; murky yellow-golden appearance; thick paper white head; inconspicuous alcohol; very light body with a watery finish. I normally won’t value a beer based on its cost, but I must say that this one is overpriced. Having said all of that, it’s somewhat enjoyable, especially on a warm day, and the taste actually kind of grows on you. omhper (12229), Stockholm, Sweden
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 8, 2007 Bottled. Clear pale golden, brief head. Grassy hops dominate the nose. Dry with bready malt, but some syrup comes through and spoils the party. Light bodied with rather mellow mouthfeel. Pleasant salty bitter finish. Feels like a good pils with too short lagering time., ChrisTurner (202), Melbourne, Australia
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 8, 2007 Bottle -- Pours with a sudsy head that soon diminishes and a clear gold colour. Some lacing. Aroma is subtle: hoppy with grapefruit. Mouthfeel is thin and a little watery. Subtle flavour of hops. Watery finish. OK beer for a hot day but lacks any real oomph. joe19612 (692), camberley, Surrey, England

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 31, 2007 Pours bright pale yellow w/ a medium semi creamy froth that is spattered loosely leaving a very nice lace. Aroma is grainy w/ cisp malts. Light to medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are bright and clean w/ a defined crispness. Very refreshing. No offesive flavors. The finsh is clean w/ crisp bittering of the asprin sort. Very nice. Perfect summer brew. Highly recommended.
