It is a crisp refreshing pilsner that has a very distinct, soft nose, and bitter taste. It is very difficult to find a good bitter pilsner, even in Germany most of them tend to be too sweet for me. Anyway, get your hands on this beer- it’s awesome! Nephilium (556), Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 24, 2006 A very pale, highly carbonated beer. I don’t think I’d agree with "a strong hop taste", but it is not a bad beer. It has a hint of hop, and a slight sour taste to it. A decent session ale, or a fairly accessable decent beer. lagomswedish (213), Umeå, Sweden

This is a delicate lager - mild floral notes (a touch of lemongrass?) and soft malt rounded off with a prickle of hops. What there is is balanced well, but don’t think there’s enough in there in the first place. raymondwave (878), Finland

One of the better classic german pilseners. Re-rate: After quite a few german pilseners, this one is starting take the top position. Nicely balanced and beautiful hoppy aftertaste, which kicks in very late! VeloVampire (490), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Not much in the aroma, some malt sweetness, that’s about it. Flavour is quite nice though, slightly bready, with the aforementioned sweetness but really balanced with that dry German bitterness from the hops, which take over the finish. Bitterness/hoppiness fades and sweetness grows as beer warms in the glass. Aggressively carbonated. Not a whole lot here, but what is here is enjoyable. A refreshing summer quaffer, for sure. homersimpsin (40), South Melbourne, Australia

Full flavoured beer, smooth & light on the palate, cant stop at one !

Run of the mill stuff except a more bitter but welcome taste. For this price well worth another visit. pojo41 (315), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
