Aroma of sweet malts, slight grassy hops and a little bready notes. Taste is refreshing, sweet sticky malts dominate with a slight grassy hop character, overall I’d much rather drink this than anything made by American macros. cfrancis (352), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 21, 2009 It’s a pleasant beer. Nothing appalling, but also nothing noteworthy. It’s cold, it’s wet, I’ll drink it. But I’m not going to make it a habit. CUJO (379), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 15, 2009 Tap @ Halo Berlin: Pours a yellow corn, no haze... smells of the same grainy, corn, yeasts. The medium to high carbonation was first noticable followed by a light bitterness... hops used were neither strong nor complex. Easy drink, not offensive in any way. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 15, 2009 Tried from a can and pleasantly, there was no hint of "tinning" about the taste. Pouring an attractive medium gold colour, also appearing was a white head of average size. The head left only a small bit of lacing on departure. Aroma was both bitter and grassy, and the taste was indeed bitter but not to the point of sourness. Aftertaste and mouthfeel were quite acceptable. This was better than the average Euro-pil. jmm635 (269), Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Poured golden in color with a white head. Lacks flavor all around. Little hops, little malt in the aroma, but more apparent is straw and corn. Seems soggy, if that makes sense. Nordcore (290), North of, Norway
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2009 Bottle 33 cl. Apperance; light golden, clear with a medium white head. Aroma; Hoppy and some sweet malt, and some fruits. Flavor; hoppy but also sence of malt. Quite nice and refreshing pilsner! alepig666 (78), Adelaide, Australia
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 9/20 | Jul 10, 2009 Bottle. Poured straw gold with next to no head. Aroma is weak, mostly corn and (disturbingly) seltzer. Taste is weak but has distinction, straw, wheat and corn, very bubbly mouth feel. Nice finish, hoppy and slightly bitter, very refreshing. Would have preferred more strength in all departments. At least the ingredients are good quality and it’s not offensive in any way. A mild refreshing beer, probably your best bet for getting wasted on a hot day. kiefdog (1637), Tampa, Florida, USA
