Commercial Description:
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Can courtesy of markwise. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of wheat, light citrus, grass, bread, some hints of yeast. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of grass, hay, wheat, light citrus, light floral hops. Generally medium body with a pleasing wheaty finish.

Can from Germany. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Nose is bread, very light malt, sweetness, corn, and grass. Flavor is bread, water, light malt, and some hop bite. Not my favorite but for a Pils, it is enjoyable.

Bottle. Poured a clear pale gold with a white head. Aroma of bread, corn yeast with a bit of grass. Flavor was a little better; slightly sweet, corn, bread and a bit of grass/earth in the finish. Not one of my favorites.

Drank in Brussels. Pours with a light head, noting special in terms of aroma or taste. I wouldn’t drink this beer.

Bottle at Allen St Hardware. Pale yellow pour. Kind of fizzy. Typical Euro pils. Grassy, fizzy bitterness. Not a bad beer

12oz bottle couretsy of Steph’s sister international mutil-pack. Clear golden color with small to medium white head. Aroma is corny and dry lager yeast. Flavor is dry and corny once again with standard import lager sensibility. Light and watery body. I don’t know how people drink lots of this to be honest.

Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is grass, soap, lager yeast, a hint of white bread and a little spiciness. Flavor is grass, grain, mineral, and a little toasted white bread. This is a nice Pils
