Commercial Description:
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Tap - Looks good with a clear, golden color and a small white head. Smell and taste are pretty ’meh’. Smells sweet and syrupy. Taste is like a juiced-up macro -- a little malt with some noticeable dry hop taste. There just isn’t much there, but I suppose that’s the point. I’d drink this if I wanted a refreshing beer, but honestly it doesn’t even do that very well. There’s lots of carbonation that bites at the mouth, and it just doesn’t leave you feeling quenched.

500 ml. can. Pours a thin white head, over a clear, pale (SRM 5) body....nose of light hops and malts....tastes of a bit of hop and a bit of malt with a mild bitter finish....mouth feel is very light and watery. This seems to be, at best, another Euro-lager. My expectation were low, and were not exceeded.

355ml bottle poured into a footed pilsner. Golden with ample white head. Smells like citrus and hops. Strong hop flavor. Medium carbonation. Medium to long bitter finish. Nothing special about this one.

Clear yellow color with a thin fully diminishing white head. Light grain and honey aroma. Light grain flavor with honey notes...it os what it is...

500ml Can: Pours straw gold in colour, very thin line of decent marshmallow head, quite a bit of carbonation heading up and out. Aroma is grassy, sour apples, slight skunk (in a can!?), and some heavy sweetness. Lots of generic grain comes off in the initial taste, followed closely by an off-putting metallic flavour. More hops than I’d expected, which is about all this guy has working for him. Dry mouthfeel, not my favourite.

No real aroma other than a slight alcohol and grain smell. Pours a slightly cloudy/golden color with no head or lacing. Taste is nothing special just a slight taste of grains and hops.

500 mL Can. Clear straw body with a frothy white head that settles to a thin foamy layer lacing the sides of the glass. Aroma is sweet malt, grains, grassy hops, and subtle notes of lemon peel and pine. Flavor is sweet malt and grassy hops, the hops expressing most strongly in the aftertaste with a hint of honey followed by a clean finish. Bitte, mehr Bit :D
