Oct 1, 2003 A pale yellow beer with a fantastic head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hay. The flavor is sweet and brewmashy ending on a slight bitterness. An average pilsener on my tastebuds - or did miss something - or maybe my expectations were just too high.

Feb 8, 2007 Bottled. Clear pale golden, brief head. Grassy hops dominate the nose. Dry with bready malt, but some syrup comes through and spoils the party. Light bodied with rather mellow mouthfeel. Pleasant salty bitter finish. Feels like a good pils with too short lagering time.,

Oct 6, 2001 Updated: Jun 26, 2004Light golden colour; rich herbal-hoppy nose; very dry; very bitter with a long, herbal finish. Light-bodied but full of flavour. Great German pilsner, and such a mistunderstood beer.

Aug 7, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is medium sweet cornish and with bitterhops coming through. Flavour is bitterhops, grassy and mild cornish too. Extremely clean - towards a bit boring. Dry and bitter finish.
