On draught at the brewery’s taproom in Hamilton, Montana. Talking to brewmaster, he informed me that Evan Williams bourbon was used with this batch. Pours a near opaque dark brown brew with a creamy tan head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of dark roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, some molasses and coconuts. Taste is smooth, creamy, very little carbonation with flavors of dark chocolate, slightly dry bitterness with sweet bourbon flavors. Finish is slightly dry, smooth with a lingering bourbon and chocolate aftertaste.
