Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 19, 2006 Clear, light mahogany. Not much to the head or lace. Rich nutty aromas with toasted malts lead to earthy tones. Flavor is mostly caramel and toasted malts. Mellow, malty finish. Good stuff. BückDich (4785), McCall, Idaho, USA May 2, 2006 Draught at the brewpub: Mahogany color, light head and lacing. Nose of light dirty socks and molasses. The flavor is fuller with malts and dark fruit. Creamy full body finish, light roast and chocolate. The nose just kills this for me, maybe it’s the corn.
