BuckeyeBoy (1645), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 11, 2009 Brought back from Toby’s great Montana Growler round up. Pours out a Dark brown topped with a tan head. Aroma was of sweet milk chocolate, coffee and fresh milk. Taste was more of the sweet chocolate and roast coffee. Pretty good. ditmier (1021), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 28, 2009 Growler - Thanks Toby! - Never really liked lactose beers, so this was kinda surprising...Pours thin and dark with a medium tan head...aroma is very nice, coffee, cococa and creme...flavour follows pretty closely, astringent coffee bitterness tempered with some sugary malt and cooled down with some cream...very similar to a a cup of joe the way girls drink it, with all that cream and sweet-n-low and shit...but a pretty nice brew, is milk beer turning the corner for me? douglas88 (1557), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jun 7, 2009 On tap at 2009 NABA, my first beer of the day and one of the best. A perfect beer for a a wet and super cold morning. Pours a deep brown color with a large beige head. The aroma was excellent; super strong milk coffee and loads of milky notes. The flavor was similar; a great coffee infused stout balanced well by a ton of milky sugary goodness. A nice body as well. A very good brew.
