Jan 30, 2008 I’m not an amber guy so my scores might be lower than someone who is in to this type of beer. Its a good version of budweiser. Nothing more, nothing less.

Nov 4, 2007 sampled at the brewpub. Amber in color, medium sized off white head with pretty active carbonation. Nowhere near the amount of hop character I thought this was going to have after reading the description. Some caramel/toasted grain in the aroma, but even that was somewhat muted. Taste was pretty bland with caramel and toasted malts and a very light hop bitterness in the background.
Rastacouere (5343), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
Oct 28, 2007 Clear glowing amber-orange coloured ale over which lasts a large off-white head. Healthy looking pour. Straightforward, quite grainy, cerealic and slightly tart ale with a certain mineral backbone. Limited fruitiness, quite sweet on the palate and holding a minimal bitterness of a herbal and leafy nature. Kinda lame finish. Gentle carbonation.

Aug 5, 2007 Lacking in aroma, what was there was basically malt. Coloring was a lighter shade of maple syrup. Head was impressive, as was the lacing. Flavors were on the mild side with no real flavor of anything but caramel malts. Easy to drink, but honestly, a bit watery. Unoffensive to the casual beer drinker, which makes it basically forgettable to the rest of us.
