Commercial Description:
The lingering sweetness blends perfectly with the slight roasted character, other malt flavors (toffee, fresh baked bread) contribute, and the whole thing is balanced, but never overwhelmed, by the hops.

pours ddep brown with a thin off white head. Smoky aroma, roasted malt with a hint of coffee. Flavor starts strong smoke with a faint hint of chocolate caramel and hops. Very thin for a porter, almost watered down. Medium palate, kind of tingly. Decent overall.

An almost black pour with creamy tan head and lace. Aroma of chocolate and medium coffee. Flavor mirrors the aroma with a slight bitter finish. Mouthfeel and carbonation are solid. A very ncie porter.

Poured a dark brown color with a medium sized, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, some smoke, and sweet chocolate. Taste of smoked malts, with light bitterness from the roasted malts, and some hoppiness as well.

Porter as it should be. Much better than the JJ Bitting’s Stout. Toffee notes. Nice quickly subsiding bitterness.
