jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Apr 7, 2006 Updated: May 15, 2006on tap-pours a creamy light tan head that laces with gold-yellow color. Aroma is malty. Taste is medium malt, background hops, roasty. Medium body, OK carbonation. freekyp (820), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA May 24, 2004 Malty nose with ample caramel and a bit of molasses. Slightly sweet, but not overly so. Hops become more apparent at end of swallow. Balanced and light enough to drink on a hot day. Reddish brown with slight off-white head. mkobes (2039), somewhere, New Jersey, USA Mar 1, 2004 Nice clear caramel color. Clean aroma. Big malty flavor. REally yummy. Very enjoyable. Clean malt flavor. Nothing bad about it. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA Feb 14, 2004 At the BP, the description contradicted the web, @ 6.4% ABV, and cold aged for 2 months, but I digress. Nice clear carmel color. Clean malty aroma with no off notes. Big malty flavor, that is exceptionally German like and outstanding. One of the best BP bock beers that I have ever had. Way to go August!
