May 24, 2004 Malty nose with ample caramel and a bit of molasses. Slightly sweet, but not overly so. Hops become more apparent at end of swallow. Balanced and light enough to drink on a hot day. Reddish brown with slight off-white head.

Feb 14, 2004 At the BP, the description contradicted the web, @ 6.4% ABV, and cold aged for 2 months, but I digress. Nice clear carmel color. Clean malty aroma with no off notes. Big malty flavor, that is exceptionally German like and outstanding. One of the best BP bock beers that I have ever had. Way to go August!
