weezfour (82), Oradell, New Jersey, USA Apr 27, 2008 Candy beer. It tastes almost too good. Would be amazing on a hot summer day, sitting out in the sun. rman18 (174), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA Jan 30, 2008 Not a fruit beer guy, but my wife liked this one so I will take her word for it. I tried it and the fruityness isn’t overwhelming, but I wouldn’t be able to drink too many of these. Not bad for the women... or the womenly man. bigrond (865), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 21, 2007 I’m not a fan of this one. I don’t care for raspberry or fruit beer either. But it was at a beer fest so.....I had to try everything. hophead75 (1680), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Nov 4, 2007 sampled at the brewpub. Clear golden in color. Aroma is rasberry flavoring, as well as light notes of wheat and grain. Taste is rasberry flavoring, with a very weak malt base. A bit grainy, actually tastes exactly like the golden ale with a shot of rasberry syrup thrown in it. not very enjoyable for me at all. Rastacouere (5355), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 28, 2007 Hugely sparkling ale with small bubbles raising a huge and frothy white head. Perfumey and rather simple nose that does exactly what the name implies – raspberry and wheat. Very lacy head betrays the sparkling palate. Poor complexity in mouth, strong wheat flavours dominate the rest. Refreshing, but quickly dull.
