Backlogging: (Sangerøl-edition). Amber with a head. Very lively in the bottle. Spicy and funky aromas - almost like wild yeast. Acidic flavours and funky too. Infected?

Handbottled. Pours slight hazy orange and with a diminished orange head. Slight herbal and light fruity aroma. Fruity to herbal flavour, mildly sweet and smooth. Mild caramel malt flavour beneath and a slight herbal bite towards the finish. Classic bog myrtle flavour accompanying this. Ends mild rather than bitter.

Amber with a nice head. The aroma is sweet and slightly perfumed with notes of malt and caramel. No trace of the bog myrtle. The flavour is sweet, perfumed with notes of caramel, some citrus and the finish grows drier and a bit more bitter towards the end. But absolutely no Bog Myrtle and the overall impression is a bit too sweet. 1987

Bottle. Pours a muddy dark amber. A medium white creamy head that ends up as a thin film. Aroma is quite sweet, caramel, sweet gale, grass and juniper. Taste has caramel and a woodyness. Flavour doesn’t last that long. Finishes peppery and a touch sharp on the tongue.

An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of over ripe fruit and a bit of soap water. The flavor is acidic with notes of over ripe fruit, and salt water, as in other Brygmand øl.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Light hazy. Light brown dense head. Crisp and sweet aroma. Ripe fruits in the flavour. Some citric and herbal notes. Is a bit grassy. Light bodied. Ends on a quite sweet light herbal bitterness.
