Draught at the brewpub. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Very dark red amber colour. Heavy malty and nutty aroma. Light sweet and modeate bitter flavor. Plumb and vanilla notes. Long interresting finish. Creamy and syruply palate. I think consedering beries are added and the lack of roasted malt that this i a S/H/V not a foreign stout. But it is a very good beer.

0.5 l bottle. Hazy dark reddish brown color with tan head. Berryish aroma with raspberry, raisins, cola and hints of solvent. Sweet flavor with berries, licorice, cola, chocolate and bread. Sharp carbonation. Surprisingly cola like and not very drinkable.

Bottle, from trade with papsoe. A clear, ruby to dark brown beer with a beige head. Roasted to burnt, coffeeish aroma, yet quite sweetish, and with some notes of alcohol. Sweet and sticky in the mouth with roasted, or maybe burnt, malt, leading to a lasting roasted finish. Medium to full body, warming and sticky in the mouth. I wasn’t expecting much from this one, considering the other Bjert beers, but it was a decent one, even though it was a bit boring. Don’t think it’s suited for cellaring. (080412)

50 cL botte. Pours hazy dark brown and with a diminishing mild chocolate brown head. Mild spice to herbal aroma. Flavour holds a whiskey like note. Mild chocolate and mild caramel smoothness in the flavour. Light acidity. Finish however is slight thin, nice brew though.

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Average beige almost brown fizzy head. Dark mahogany color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of dried fruit, hint of sweet coffee and chocolate. Light roasted malt. Over the palate some light bitter liquorish, roasted malt and caramel. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Well balanced flavour between the bitter and sweet with a light dominance of bitter notes. Dried fruit and sweet chocolate finish with an average duration. That was surprisingly nice.
