Beautiful saphire ruby red color with egg-shell white head and small doilies of lace down the glass. the aroma is smoky, nutty and roasty with lots of brown & chocolate malts. The flavor is also highly roasted with medium roast malts (if that makes sense). A fruity fig flavor comes through impersonated as hops. Finishes dry and smoky but a tad astringent.
