I don’t know the gentleman that brought this, but thank you for sharing. High alcohol, in the flavor and the aroma, especially in the aroma. Lots of malt with sugar. Straight forward and not complex, this is a big, sweet beer with lots of alcohol and malt.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Mar 6, 2007 a beautiful pour. deep amber with a yellow white and brown head. watching this beer settle into the glass was like having an epiphany, yeah, i said epiphany assholes. aroma, where to start? green raisins, plums, toffee, earthy plowed field, lemons, vinous hot alcojol, pears, lots of pear, a bit of guava, so much to enjoy here and it all works well together with the alcohol only slightly destracting. complex flavors of bsnana, clove, plum, korean pears, u.s. pears, apple, good bread, cherry, the candy sugar sweetness covers the high alcohol content well and the finish is different with every sip: pear, honey, yeast, plums, wow.
