| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2007 Tap, sampler. Pours a clear blond color, with almost no head. Aroma is banana, pale malts, lemon. Flavor is the same. Palate is light, mildly carbonated, fruity finish. This one surprised me as I was expecting something really lame. Not that it was that great, just that it wasn’t horrible. bhensonb (4360), Woodland, California, USA

The aroma is faint and contains sweet, sweet pale malt with a very light touch of grassy bitterness. All bitterness disappears from the flavor, which is all soft sweet malt and a touch of wheat flakes. Who said this was a Kölsch?
