Tap @ brewpub in 2004. A slightly hazed yellow color. Refreshing flavors with a touch of wheat. (at Addison, TX location)

BJ’s Boulder Brewhouse Blonde–on tap-pours a white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain, kolsch, leaning to banana. Taste is sweet grain, kolsch, smooth. Mild effervescence.

On Tap at BJ’s La Mesa. Very light watery to gold color with bright white head. Can’t make out the aroma. A hint of grain maybe. Nice light flavor. Seems a little citrus plus pale malts. Not a bad lawnmower beer.

On tap at BJs in Addison, TX. Poured a clear, very light golden with a dusting of white head. Nose picked up vegetal notes, sweet bread, and a pinch of honey. Sticky veggie mash throughout in the flavor.. tacky honey sweetness.. nothing I can say I enjoyed in there. Tacky and grainy on the palate.. carbonation a bit too high, and almost watery.

Orangy pale color, Very malty aroma, but not much else and not very strong. Sweet malt taste, not nutty. Crisp, clean taste. Somewhat fizzy. Clean sweet taste.

Cask @ brewpub San Jose. Pale yellow body with a small white head. A little fruity aroma. The flavor is more typical German Kölsch than anything else. Quite dry, crispy, a bit sour bitterness. Not my type of beer.

On tap. Clear light golden in colour with a small head. Very mild and doesn’t taste like a belgian blond. Slighly notes of citrus ann malt. Hoppy finish.

This could be a whole lot better. Too grainy for my taste, but I wish they trained their staff better at the (Boulder CO) restaurant. I followed this up with a PA and was more liking that one.
