Actually thought it was quite nice, pretty close to the kolsch I’ve had before. Some pepper and grass, and a bit of hay. I only had the 5 oz. taster, but it was good ’til the last drop. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 15, 2008 Golden in color with a small, white head with no lacing. Smells of orange and hay with a hint of pepper and spices. Tastes of hay with a slight note of oranges. Watery in texture. Overall i’d say its nothing special, I’d call it a glorified bud-light. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Aug 13, 2008 A nice light crisp aroma. Looks nice. The flavor is not so good though. Seems to have a little butter coming through. Actually coats the mouth a little bit too. Disappointing. Mutualaid (138), Texas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 12, 2008 From growler: Pours honey-gold with a thin white head. Low aroma of malt but no noticeable hop bouquet. Lightly sweet malt countered with a mild hop flavor. Surprising amount of body. Finishes clean. Nothing remarkable which is typical of similar beers I’ve tried. alexsdad06 (1101), Ohio, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 12, 2008 On tap at the Cincy location. Pours a clear straw color with a small fizzy white head. The aroma is light corn , pale malt, and grass. The flavor is much of the same with a weak fruitiness and a dash of spice. There is nothing special going on with this. Light and thin, but it was cold.
