Are fizzy yellow beers my favorite, no, but this beer is well made. On tap, pours a pale golden color with a small head that is white and soapy. Nose is malty with some DMS and diacetyl but nothing over bearning. Taste is refreshing and lager like with a bit of a corn esque bite to the finish. Nice mouthfeel and body and just overall refreshing and there are even fruit notes to the taste. UselessGdTaste (363), Long Beach, California, USA

It’s just good and refreshing, which is exactly what they were setting out to do. Neat touch of some honey and other sweet things. BigMilly8 (376), Holiday, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 14, 2008 From tap at Tampa brewpub : Clear, light gold color, decent carbonation. Little to no head, but leaves a white ring of foam around the glass. Nose of alcohol, corn, and apricot. Taste is not that bad for the style i guess, but its not my cup of tea...or beer. Medium body, smooth feel, stale aftertaste. CharlesDarwin (1849), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 13, 2008 On tap at the McAllen, Texas branch. Aroma is musky and off in the plants. Reeky in corn fusels and dead husks. Pours a pale gold. No head. Flavor is an incorrigible stank of corn water, dying plants and burned grains. Watery. Bland and below-average. Bites the tongue a little. Skanky, dirty and not interesting. doubelknv3 (568), Illinois, USA

I don’t think it’s a kolsch, probably a blonde ale. Wheaty straw friendly aroma. Ubiquitous color and appearance. Good carbonation and a generally nice attitude. Typical brewpub light with an extra amount of manners. I liked this brew. Some bitter aftertaste. Enjoyable haylike session beer. Nice mellow finish, not over the top. wildnobility (11), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Nice, subtly nuanced beer. Light but with a good sweet/malty flavor. I am a fan of lighter beers and enjoyed this one very much. The friend I was with, however, said it simply tasted like bud light. Depends on what kind of beer you like, I guess.
