Aug 9, 2003 Up front, I have to say this is probably THE best American Hefeweizen I've ever had. It was the nice murky gold typical of the style. Nice light head. The aroma was wonderfully wheaty. My notes just say 'Awesome'. Bitter attack with bright yeasty/fruity overtones that tickled the tongue. Smooth, light, sweet finish.

Oct 22, 2007 Updated: Nov 13, 20075 oz draft pour, consumed at BJ’s Woodland Hills on 10/22/07. Beer is light yellow and cloudy with moderate head that fades to thin foam skin. Nose has notes of banana and cloves. Smooth texture, flavor echoes aroma. Goes down with no lingering aftertaste. Refreshing and different from most American Hefes.
