hazy gold, fine dirty white head, lots of drippy lace, sweet candy malt aroma with light earthy hops, lots of sweet malt flavor, malt candy on a stick, light balancing bitterness, all about the sweet candy malt and they do a good job of it

Draught. Body is light yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, bread, grain), lightly hoppy (herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Medium body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation.

Draft at Orlando brewpub. Poured clear dark amber color with an average creamy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted nutty malty aroma. Medium body with little carbonation. Medium balanced toasted flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew that met my expectations.

On tap @ BJ’s Westminster poured a clear tarnished gold with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of carmel, light fruitiness and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, fruitiness and a hint of nuts with a crisp bittersweet finish.

On draught at the Columbus location. This beer is a mostly clear yellow/gold color with a medium thin and short-lived off-white head. Spotty lacing. Caramel, citrus and mild hops in the nose. Light-bodied and moderately carbonated with flavors of toasted malt, fruit and hops. The finish is soft with sweet malt and leaves a light spicy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
