Draught at the brewpub. Yellow body with tons of cloudiness, topped by a snow white head. Recedes quickly but some lacing. Nose of wheat husks, banana, clove, oranges and spices. Flavor is actually pretty good, carrying over the promised notes with good concentration and heft. Fruity, wheaty finish on the back end. I like the way this one tastes. Light-medium bodied, appropriate for style. Finish is lengthy, banana, orange, clove and spices. Good.

Pours a cloudy dirty yellow lemon color. Good lemon smell but slightly watery in taste. I thought it would be more flavorful but very drinkable.

It poured up pale straw with medium opacity and weak white head. The aroma was pretty full with malt graininess, bubble gum, apple and banana. The flavor seemed apply-ee with supporting notes of bubble gum, wheat, grains and banana. This one was served up near freezing, sadly as all their beers are, but this time the low temp didn’t really mess up the flavor.

On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a white head. Sweet coriander nose. Light body, extremely sweet and sugary exotic fruit accents. Absolutely no bitterness. 130709

Very fruity aroma, with notes of yeast, bananas, cloves and citrus. Flavor was a bit bland...mainly over-ripe banana, with yeast and lingering cloves..far too sugary-sweet.

Sample at the Polaris location. Pours cloudy gold with a medium white head. Yeasty banana and clove aroma with some malt. Belgian yeast flavor with banana, spices and a creamy malt finish.

On draught at the Columbus location. The beer pours a cloudy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that burns away quickly. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Mild citrus and spices in the nose. Light body with flavors of citrus and spice plus some mild wheat. The finish is clean and fruity with a lightly spiced aftertaste that does not linger long. Average overall.

Reviewed 5/22/2009 (Draft at BJs Brewhouse, Webster, TX): Pours a pale cloudy yellow colored body, with a smallish frothy creamy white head, lastingish. Fresh citrusy aroma, some lemon, a little spice. Spicy taste, clean aftertaste. Carbonated, nutty taste. Light lasting, somewhat lemony. Letting warm up a bit..not too complex a flavor, refreshing.
