Commercial Description:
Nutty Brewnette is a unique American-style brown ale. A blend of four different dark malts produces a flavor profile that is sweet with "nutty" notes like Newcastle. But a healthy dose of hops makes this beer hoppier and more balanced than most English brown ales.

en bj’s culver city (LAX), en general las cervezas son buena representacion de su estilo asi que vale la pena pedir el sampler.

On tap at Bjs Brewhouse. Dark with red highlights, quite clear. Small head. Aromas of sugar, caramel, and some nuts and spice. Lightly bitter flavor with lots of residual sugar. Lively carbonation. Very drinkable.

Tap, crystal clear dark amber with white head, aroma of light dark roasted malt with slight biscuit notes and faint hop aroma, great taste of big roasted/biscuit combo that was clean and not sweet on lingering palate

Draught at BJs San Jose. Brown with a lasting beige head. Lightly roasted, nutty, and toasty malt aromas. Watery caramel flavor with a hint of burnt toast and low hops. Almost medium bitterness in the finish, but not really hoppy like advertised. Light bodied. Again, a pretty lackluster beer.

Definite notes of toasted nut, a touch of roast, light caramel sweetness and a clean flavor profile. Finishes fairly dry and unusually hoppy, not full blown kick you in the face hoppy, but just a bit more than you might normally find in an American Brown. Slightly acrid in the aftertaste.

Scottsdale. Clear rich amber pour. Tan head. Lots of nuts and hops in this one. Flavor is up front malty leading to some roasted almond and then a heavy dose of hops. Pretty hoppy brown.

tap from the Boulder brewpub - Pours medium brown and has the expected nutty malt aroma. The taste is roast caramel malt and nuts in a medium bodied brew. It’s an okay, rather ordinary brown ale.
