Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 6, 2005 [Draft at BJ’s in Boulder Colorado] A clear amber beer with a small dense white head - the head collapses, but leaves curtains on the glass. The aroma is flowery and hoppy combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is lovely hoppy with notes of hopsoils, grass, and caramel as well as hints of nuts. I hope to come back for this. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 7, 2004 Sampled draught at BJ’s, Burbank, CA.
Deep golden. Big, flowery grapefruity hop aroma. Clean malt profile. Lingering bitter finish. Stylish, and completely dominated by hops. Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 22, 2001 Updated: Oct 7, 2005Boulder Bright gold. Lemon-tangerine aroma with hints of pale malt. The flavour starts malty - a little muddled but there are bright tangerine and apricot hop notes. Moderate bitterness. Pretty middle of the road. argo0 (6231), Washington DC, USA Nov 24, 2007 (Pinellas Park) Crystal clear light amber body with persistent off-white head that leaves nice lacing.
